What is the PADI Open Water Diver Course?
The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world’s most recognized scuba certification. After completing this course, you’ll be able to dive up to 18 meters (60 feet) anywhere in the world!

PADI Open Water Course Requirements
- Minimum age: 10 years old (Junior Open Water Diver) / 15 years old (Open Water Diver)
- Swimming ability: You must be able to swim 200 meters (or 300 meters with mask, fins, and snorkel) and float for 10 minutes
- Good health: Complete a medical questionnaire to ensure fitness for diving
